As a key stakeholder in the country’s digital ecosystem, the Lagos State Government (LASG) has pledged its continued support for sustainable growth of the telecoms sector of the Nigerian economy.

ConsumerConnect reports Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State made the assurance when the Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), led by Chief Idris Olorunnimbe, Board Chairman, paid the governor a courtesy visit in the Lagos House, at Alausa-Ikeja recently.

Speaking during the Commission’s visit to his office, Sanwo-Olu restated the commitment of the Lagos Government to continued cooperation with the telecoms sector regulator in addressing industry challenges.

He equally assured the NCC Board members of fostering sustainable growth within the telecommunications ecosystem in the Centre of Excellence.
