NYSC extends Batch ‘C’ registration by 48 hours over network hitches –Management

The National Youth Service Corps has extended the online registration period for its 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation by 48 additional hours, following network glitches reported by prospective Corps members.

Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations of NYSC, revealed this in a statement issued Friday, November 7, 2025.

The Management of NYSC stated that the longer time it is taking some prospective Corps members to complete their registration resulted from network-related constraints affecting the system.

ConsumerConnect reports the NYSC had announced that online registration for the 2025 ‘Batch C’ would commence Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

The scheme, in a notice posted on its verified official social media account said that registration for both foreign-trained and Nigerian-trained graduates would run November 4-9, 2025.

Embu stated: “The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has noted the difficulties being faced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) in the ongoing registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation.

“The longer than usual time it is taking some PCMs to complete the registration is as a result of network issues.”

The scheme said it regretted the inconvenience the disruption might have caused prospective Corps members.

It added that the registration period has now been extended to allow those affected complete the process.

Embu further stated: “While management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to resolve the issues and ensure they enjoy seamless registration.”

The NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations as well disclosed that the registration would run until midnight of Tuesday, November 11, in order to accommodate the applicants still struggling with completion in the digital space.

The statement noted: “In view of this regrettable development, the Management have extended the registration period by 48 hours till midnight of Tuesday November 11, 2025 to enable our enthusiastic PCMs conclude their registration.”

The NYSC, therefore, urged applicants to remain calm while intensifying efforts at addressing the reported network issues.
