NCC celebrates 2022 Customer Service Week, highlights QoS in telecoms sector

*The Nigerian Communications Commission joins the rest of the global world to celebrate service and wish telecoms consumers ‘happy Customer Service Week’ in the country’s ecosystem

As the world marks the 2022 Customer Service Week (CSW), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) celebrates with telecoms consumers across the West African country.

The telecoms sector regulatory Commission in communication material, says, “the NCC joins the rest of the world to celebrate service. Happy Customer Service Week.”

ConsumerConnect reports the commemoration of the 2022 edition of the Customer Service Week is scheduled to be globally celebrated October 3 to 7, 2022.

The Week is designated as an international celebration, which highlights the importance of customer service, and “the people who serve and support customers” on a daily basis to deliver exceptional service.

The NCC has stated that the SERVICOM National Office in the Presidency is the driver of Quality of Service (QoS) delivery in Nigeria.

SERVICOM aims at improving quality service delivery in all sectors of the economy, and ultimate citizen satisfaction.

Several other Nigerian  organisations are also joining the global community to celebrate the Week in the country.

These represent the leading financial, telecommunications, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retailing, hospitality, communications, non-profits, and educational organisations, as well as government agencies, and others.

In its commemorative message to telecoms consumers Thursday, October 6, MTN Nigeria stated: “Dear Customer, there is no US without U.

“Happy Customer Service Week. #ServiceIsOurSuperpower.”

It has been noted that each year, thousands of organisations across the United States (US) and around the world celebrate the Customer Service Week.
