The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is hosting the inaugural Nigeria Digital Connectivity Investment Forum, holding September 29-30, 2026, in Abuja, FCT.
ConsumerConnect reports the NCC, Monday, September 28 in a statement shared its verified social media account, disclosed the two-day event is being organised in partnership with Swedfund International AB and Ookla.
The telecoms sector regulatory Commission also said the Forum attract investors, policymakers, operators and regulators to explore investment opportunities, and discuss the future of Nigeria’s digital infrastructure ecosystem.
According to NCC, among other notable keynote speakers lined up for the West African country’s inaugural Digital Connectivity Investment Forum include Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Honourable Minister for Industry, Trade and Investment (ITI); Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Honourable Minister for Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy.
The Commission said other distinguished speakers would include Ambassador Anna Westerholm, Swedish Ambassador to Nigeria; Mr. Bismarck Rewane, Managing Director of Financial Derivatives Limited and Chairman of FCMB Group Plc, as well as Bolaji Balogun, CEO of Chapel Hill Denham, among others.
The NCC added that the ongoing event would particularly focus on an important conversation: “mobilising investments to build the digital infrastructure that will power Nigeria’s future.”
