The Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation (LSEF), in collaboration with businesses within the Zinox Group, Task Systems, TD Africa, Zinox Technologies Limited and Konga Group, has commissioned state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Centres at Gbagada Senior Grammar School and Lanre Awolokun High School, both in Gbagada, Lagos State.
Zinox Group said the new centres were designed to give students access to digital learning and modern computing tools, while creating an Intelligent environment where technology can become part of everyday education.

Each facility is equipped with the latest Zinox All-in-One desktop computers, large interactive AI-enabled screens, 24-hour renewable energy solutions from iPower, and two years of satellite internet connectivity from Starlink, providing a high-speed digital gateway capable of connecting students and teachers to learning resources beyond the classroom.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh thanked the teachers and students for their warm reception and commended the school communities for their commitment to education.
Ekeh urged the students to understand that success requires patience, discipline and hard work.
He also advised students of the two schools to use the platforms to cause positive disruption and become the new wealth creators of the nation, individuals who can defend their wealth and earn the status of certified global citizens.
“This is my prayer for you, as I now see myself as part of these two schools,” stated the Chairman of Zinox Group.
The tech expert appealed to the Federal Government and subnational governments to prioritise education and ensure that knowledge workers are among the highest-paid professionals in the country.
“An angry or hungry teacher cannot deliver quality content to students.
“We must consciously raise the quality of education to save this nation,” he added.
According to LSEF, Ekeh, who has consistently advocated greater access to technology and quality education for young Nigerians, charged the students to remain focused on their education and conduct themselves with integrity.
He reminded them that they have the opportunity to become significant contributors to society if they take their education seriously.
As part of his commitment to nurturing exceptional talent, Ekeh further promised that students who distinguish themselves academically and graduate with outstanding results could receive full scholarships and access to exclusive world-class technology training designed to prepare them for opportunities on the global stage.
The Gbagada project is the most recent of 123 education and technology projects undertaken by the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation across Nigeria over the last 38 years of serial technology entrepreneurship.
The Foundation’s interventions span primary, secondary and tertiary institutions, reflecting its broader commitment to using technology and education to develop Nigeria’s next generation.
Ekeh and the Zinox Group have invested significantly in digital education, providing technology laboratories and innovation hubs to universities and colleges.
Among its interventions, the Foundation has equipped Digital ICT Centres at Imo State University (IMSU), St. Augustine University, Epe, Lagos State, Federal University Birnin Kebbi, Bakambara Day Secondary School, Kebbi State, and Holy Ghost College, Owerri, Imo State, among others.
According to Dr. George Emetuche, Director of Studies at the Leo Stan Ekeh Foundation, the Foundation is now directing resources towards producing 1,000 tech-savvy young Nigerians who will receive globally recognised training and qualifications.
Emetuche said the brilliant and indigent students would receive 100 percent scholarships at university, with the expectation that their skills and expertise will contribute significantly to Nigeria’s economic development.
He added that the first set of beneficiaries have secured admission to study Computer Science and Computer Engineering at various universities across Nigeria and will be officially announced in due course.
