FirstBank of Nigeria has announced its readiness to host the 5th Edition of the Agric and Export Expo slated for September 16 and 17, 2026, at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.
The leading commercial bank noted stakeholders are expected to focus on expanding Nigeria’s agricultural exports while strengthening the country’s position in global markets.

FirstBank noted the two-day event with the theme: “From Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeria’s Export Value Chain”, would attract policymakers, regulators, agribusiness leaders, exporters, investors, development partners and other players in the agriculture and export sectors.
Senator Abubakar Kyari, Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, is expected to deliver the keynote address and lead discussions on improving agricultural productivity while strengthening Nigeria’s food systems.
FirstBank also noted that the conference would examine emerging trends, market opportunities, financing options, technology-driven innovations and policy measures that could strengthen Nigeria’s agricultural and non-oil export sectors.
According to the financial institution, the expo will also feature governors Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger State, Monday Okpebholo of Edo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State and Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as special guests.
Other speakers include Olasunkanmi Owoyemi, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited; Taiwo Ayoade, Deputy Managing Director, Agro Traders Limited and Plantation Industries Limited; Sunil Kumar Chauhan, Managing Director/CEO, Dangote Fertiliser Limited; and Ayodele Abioye, Managing Director/CEO, BUA Foods Plc.
