Sequel to its recent decision to lift the ban on telecommunications services in 10 out of the 17 Local Government Areas (LGAs), the Katsina State Government has assured the citizens that it will reactivate telecoms services in the seven outstanding LGAs before January 2022.

ConsumerConnect reports Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina State, who disclosed this at a media briefing Tuesday, December 28, 2021, in Katsina, North-West Nigeria, urged the citizens and residents to do their best in protecting their areas from bandits’ attacks.

Recall that the state government had deactivated telecoms services in the state to cut off criminals’ means of communication while the security agencies were mobilising for military operations in the state.
