Lamborghini recalls 224 Urus vehicles for faulty seat belt automatic retractors

Lamborghini is recalling 224 model year 2021 Urus vehicles.

The automaker said that the middle-rear passenger seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly.

According to the company, an unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

As regards what to do, the firm stated dealers would inspect, and replace as necessary, the affected seat belt assemblies free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 1, 2021.
