General Motors (GM) is recalling five model year 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer said the second-row centre seat belt latch may be trapped beneath the trim bezel, and therefore, inaccessible.

A passenger in the second-row center seat will be unable to wear a seatbelt, increasing the risk of injury in a crash, the company stated.

In connection with what to do in correcting the error, GM will notify affected owners, and dealers will remove the trim bezel, correctly position the seat belt latch plate, and reinstall the trim bezel free of charge.

The current recall is expected to begin May 10, 2021.

Owners may contact Chevrolet Customer Service on (800) 222-1020, and GM’s number for this recall is N212329320.

Likewise, General Motors is recalling 60,678 model year 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon vehicles.

ON what to do to rectify the error, the company will notify affected owners, and dealers will replace steering gear torque sensor cover assembly free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin May 10, 2021.

Owners may contact Chevrolet Customer Service on (800) 222-1020, and GMC Customer Service on (800) 462-8782.
