Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling seven model year 2020 GLB 250s.

The company disclosed that window airbag in the A-pillar area may not be mounted correctly, affecting its performance, says agency report.

In a crash that deploys the window airbag, the catch strap could disconnect and increase the risk of injury.

In connection with what to do in rectifying the error, MBUSA will notify affected owners, and dealers will check the mounting of the window air bag and correct it, as necessary free of charge.

The current recall is expected to begin December 8, 2020, and vehicle owners may contact MBUSA Customer Service on (800) 367-6372.
