Nigeria approves N2.9bn for examination documents, N1.62bn road projects

Nigeria’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved N2.9 billion for the printing of materials for the forthcoming Senior School Certificate Examinations (SSCE), common entrance, and basic education examinations holding in the country.

Malam Adamu Adamu, Honourable Minister for Education, revealed this at a media briefing after the FEC meeting held in the Council Chambers Wednesday, October 28, in Abuja, FCT.

The Minister Adamu noted that the contract would be handled by eight printing companies.

The Minister also noted that the Council approved N900 million for the rehabilitation of roads in Gwagwalada township and N719 million for the upgrade of roads in Kwali Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to Adamu, both road projects have a timeline of six months each.
