Ford Motor Company is recalling 839 model year 2017-20 Mustang Shelby GT350s and GT500s in Canada only.

The automobile manufacturer says the daytime running lamps may not activate as required, possibly making the vehicle may be less visible to other drivers during the day and increasing the risk of a crash.

As regards what to do in correcting the fault, Ford disclosed it would notify affected vehicle owners, and dealers will update the body control module software.

Owners may contact Ford Customer Service on (866) 436-7332, and the number for this recall is 20C21.

Likewise, Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling two model year 2020 GLE 350 cars.

Stating that the vehicle may stall, thereby posing the risk of a crash, the company noted that the connection of the locking ring between the front and rear part of the drive shaft might not have been installed correctly, possibly resulting in a loss of power transfer between the transfer case and the rear axle differential.

MBUSA stated if the transfer case disconnects from the rear axle differential the vehicle could stall, posing the risk of a crash.

On what to do to resolve the faulty ring issue, the company said it would notify affected vehicle owners, and dealers will replace the drive shaft free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin December 8, 2020, and owners may contact MBUSA Customer Service on (800) 367-6372.
