Leaders of the governing All Progressives Congress in Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, in Osun State, have unanimously adopted Hon. Busayo Oluwole Oke (BOO), a current member of the Nigerian House of Reps, as the party’s House of Representatives candidate during the 2027 General Elections.

Oke’s selection at the weekend as the party’s candidate, he expressed profound, heartfelt gratitude to the party leaders for their commitment to the ideals of the party, their sense of responsibility, and their unwavering dedication to unity and collective progress.

According to the Federal lawmaker, their rare demonstration of consensus and maturity reflected the strength and discipline within the governing party in Nigeria.

Oke also appreciated his fellow aspirants, who in the interest of unity and the greater good of the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, graciously stepped down for him during the recent party primaries.

These are Prince Abiodun Aribisala, Alhaji Ahmed Alubankudi, Engr. Agoro, Prof. Akinmoladun, and Engr. Femi Akosile.

The legislator as well applauded his fellow contestants’ selflessness, sportsmanship, and loyalty to the party’s vision.

This would not be forgotten, and would continue to inspire a united front as the party marches forward, Oke reportedly stated.

He said: “Together, we move ahead with renewed purpose, shared vision, and an unshakable resolve to deliver effective representation and meaningful development to the good people of Obokun/Oriade” Federal Constituency in Osun State.
