Mercedes-Benz recalls 10, 644 GLB250 vehicles

*Rear spoiler may detach while vehicle is in motion

Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling 10,644 model year 2020 GLB250 vehicles.

Report says the rear spoiler above the tailgate may not have been welded correctly and may detach from the affected vehicles.

If the spoiler detaches while the vehicle is being driven, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the rear spoiler and replace it ─ if necessary ─ free of charge, report stated.

The recall is expected to begin October 13, 2020, and affected vehicle owners may contact MBUSA Customer Service on (800) 367-6372.
