Ford recalls 70 Escape, Transit vehicles over curtain airbag

*Curtain airbag may not inflate properly during deployment in motion

Ford Motor Company is recalling about 70 model year 2020 Ford Escapes and Transits sold in the United States and Canada respectively.

The curtain airbag may not inflate properly during deployment, increasing the risk of injury during a crash, reports ConsumerAffairs.

However, it was learnt that Ford is not aware of any reports of accidents or injuries thus far.

As regards what to do, Ford will notify affected owners, and dealers will replace the curtain airbag modules.
