Against certain misinformation being spread in the public space in connection with the Nigerian Government’s imminent implementation of the country’s new Tax Laws, the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee is seeking the nominations of 20 top digital content creators under its initiative christened, “Influencing for Good”.

ConsumerConnect reports the Federal Government of Nigeria has announced 50 tax exemptions and reliefs for Nigerians, small-scale businesses and organisations under new Tax Reforms Laws.

Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, noted this in an announcement posted on his verified social media account, said effective from January 1, 2026, the country’s new tax laws would provide several reliefs and exemptions for low-income earners, average taxpayers, and small businesses in the economy.

The Tax Committee, therefore, seeks the nominations of content creators who have been “educating their audience about Nigeria’s new Tax Reforms Laws”, or some others Nigerians would like to see do so.
