The Management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) have restated the commitment of the state oil company to reviving the ailing oil refineries in Port-Harcourt, Warri and Kaduna for the benefit of energy consumers, and the entire economy.

ConsumerConnect reports Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari @BBOjulari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of NNPCL, disclosed this Wednesday, October 30, 2025, in a terse statement tilted, “Update On Our Refineries”, posted via his verified X account.

Ojulari reiterated oil-refining company’s understanding of Nigerian consumers’ expectation for the prosperity of country, and the future success of Nigeria, which he noted would “always take precedence over any individual interests.”

In regard to the NNPCL’s determination to ensure an effective operation of the facilities, the also said: “We are filled with determination! We are looking ahead with optimism to ensure our refineries operate effectively.

“We are dedicating significant time to a detailed review, and are eager to implement our insights.”

He further explained that the company’s drive is the understanding that prosperity of the Nigerian states and the future success of the West African country would always take precedence over any individual interests.

“This very commitment inspires us as we anticipate creating sustainable solutions for our refineries in the near future, Ojulari reassured Nigerians.

According to Ojulari, his leadership voice is: “We’re repositioning as a commercially driven, transparent energy company serving Nigerians.”
