The Federal Government has announced the membership of the Advisory Committee of the Nigerian Web Design Standard (NWDS) project to further enhance social services in the fast-evolving Nigeria Digital Economy.

ConsumerConnect reports Dr. ’Bosun Tijani, Honourable Minister for Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, stated this in a recent blog note via his verified social media account.

Dr. Tijani said he was “excited to announce the members of the Advisory Committee of the Nigerian Web Design Standard (NWDS) project, who will help to create a set of standardised design principles, frameworks, and guidelines for all government Web sites.”

The Minister also explained the members of the Advisory Committee, who will be engaging in a volunteer capacity, include Kene Udeze, Senior Product Designer, IKEA; Ibrahim Bashir, Business Analyst, Bolt, and Partner/Founder, Dillali Technology; Mitchelle Chibundu, Founder, Designer Babe; and Clive Ayonye, Senior Product Designer, META.

Tijani stated: “We will leverage the capacity, expertise, and wide-ranging experience of these outstanding professionals to deliver a visual style that will offer a unique and user-friendly design for Nigerian Web sites and digital assets, allowing for consistency across multiple touch points.”
