In continuation of his efforts at supporting and complementing the containment of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) across Nigeria, HRM Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi (Ojaja II), the Ooni of Ife, has donated two motorised modular fumigators to the Ebonyi State Government to further control the spread of the fatal virus in the state.

ConsumerConnect reports that Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State disclosed this Friday, June 5 while receiving the Ooni of Ife’s COVID-19 Team at the Government House in Abakaliki, the state capital.

Motorised Modular Fumigators from the Ooni of Ife

Francis Nwaifuru, Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, on behalf of Governor Umahi, said the equipment would be effectively used for the benefits of the citizens of the state.

The governor, while appreciating the locally made integrated fumigators, promised stated that they would help to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Princess Kemi Fadojutimi, on behalf of the Ooni’s delegation to Ebonyi State, stressed that the royal father’s gesture is to complement the efforts of the state government at fighting the scourge of Coronavirus epidemic.

Princess Fadojutimi, while noting that each state of the Federation is to receive two motorised modular fumigators from Oba Ogunwusi, assured that the active agent used for the fumigation is not harmful to humans.
