Toyota is recalling about 102,000 SUVs and late-model pickup trucks due to debris that may enter the engine and cause it to stall.

The leading automobile manufacturer noted that a stalled engine increases the risk of a crash and injury to consumers.

The recall notice includes various 2022-2023 model-year Toyota Tundra pickup trucks and Lexus LX600 SUVs equipped with a V35A six-cylinder engine.

Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, Toyota stated.
