NCDC confirms 387 new COVID-19 cases, Nigeria’s total infections hit 9,302

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that COVID-19 cases in in the country increased further with 387 cases reported by the country.

The disease control agency disclosed this in a tweet via its verified Twitter account Friday, May 29.

The country’s total infections totalling 9,302, out of which 2,697 have been discharged with 261 losing their lives.

According to NCDC, the data revealed that the new cases were spread across 13 states of the Federation and Abuja, FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 254 cases.

The NCDC @NCDCgov said of the 387 new cases of #COVID19, Lagos-254, FCT-29, Jigawa-24, Edo-22, Oyo-15, Rivers-14, Kaduna-11, Borno-6, Kano-3, Plateau-2, Yobe-2, Gombe-2, Bauchi-2 and Ondo-1 with 2, 697 discharged COVID-19 patients and 261 deaths.
