Following their nominations by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Senate Tuesday, May 22, 2024, in the National Assembly (NASS), Abuja, FCT, confirmed two nominees: Engr. Sunday Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services; and Ms Rimini Haraya Makama, as Executive Commissioner, Stakeholders Management, at the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) respectively.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, earlier had submitted a list of the two new nominees to Federal Legislature for screening and appointment as Executive Commissioners in the Commission.

Senator Bilbis, in the report, had informed the Senators that his Committee screened the two nominees and found them to be qualified, as they both satisfied the conditions for appointment as Executive Commissioners in NCC.

In attendance during the confirmation of the nominees in the Senate were Dr. Aminu Maida, Executive Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (EVC/CEO) of NCC, and other top officials of the telecoms sector regulatory Commission.
