Emmanuel Akosile | ConsumerConnect

Nissan North America is recalling 20,051 model year 2022-2024 Infiniti QX60 vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer said when being driven at certain high speeds, the Adaptive Front-Light System (AFS) may incorrectly adjust the headlights downward.

Nissan stated that any incorrectly adjusted headlights can reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash, agency report said.

In connection with what to do in addressing the defect, dealers would reconfigure the Intelligent Power Distribution Module (IPDM) settings free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 12, 2024.

Affected vehicle owners may contact Nissan Customer Service on (800) 867-7669.

Nissan’s number for this recall is PC994.
