IFIC 2023: CBN, Interswitch deepen financial inclusion, sustainable economic development in Lagos

As part of the ongoing measures to boost financial inclusion and sustainable development, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is organising 2nd Edition of the International Financial Inclusion Conference (IFIC).

ConsumerConnect reports the transnational event with the theme, “Financial Inclusion for All: Global Insights for Local Impact”, is scheduled to hold Thursday, October 5 and Friday, October 6, 2023, at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, in Lagos State.

Interswitch, one of Africa’s leading integrated payments and digital commerce companies, has proudly announced its Platinum Sponsorship of the 2nd Edition of IFIC.

The IFIC has been described as a significant gathering of thought leaders, financial services providers, regulators, development partners, and other financial inclusion stakeholders, aims to deliberate on contemporary developments, address challenges, and propose solutions to foster a more inclusive financial system.

The conference underscores the CBN’s commitment to extending financial services and opportunities to underserved or excluded consumers within the formal financial system in the West African country.
