CMC Gladiators visit Brig-Gen Adetuyi, seek partnership with 9th Brigade of Nigerian Army

The leadership of Cornel Media Consult, CMC Gladiators, a public relations, media and entertainment outfit, during the week paid a courtesy visit to Brig.-Gen A.M. Adetuyi, Commander of 9 Brigade, Nigerian Army, Maryland, in Lagos State.

Amb. Cornel Udofia, President of CMC Gladiators, who led the team, disclosed the objective of the courtesy visit was to seek partnership on how both organisations could work together to promote the activities of the Brigade and the Nigerian Army for national growth, unity,   security as well public enlightenment of its operations in the country.

Udofia, in his opening speech talked about the activities of the group, including media  consultancy, talents hunt, capacity building,  celebration of worthy individuals in both public and private entities that have excelled as well as publicising activities of government for public awareness.

He equally informed the hosts that the group also engages in nurturing young artists to attain the status of stardom, training and empowering young and up coming entrepreneurs, and celebrating people with exceptional performances  with Awards and publicising of such exploits of individuals in the media.

Welcomng the Gladiators’ team to the 9th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig.-Gen. Adetuyi said he is always keen on working with the Civil Society groups and NGOs to help to promote national unity, security, and well-being of the country.

Adetuyi also urged the CMC team to carry out their activities and collaboration with the public in a way that would help to maintain the corporate existence of the West African country.

The Commander commended Udofia, President of the group,   and other members of the organisation, for their patriotic zeal to always identify with the Nigerian Army and the 9 Brigade, Maryland in particular.

He described such an initiative as nationalistic, urging them to keep the  zeal burning.

Adetuyi further assured them that the 9 Brigade of the Nigerian Army would be delighted to involve the organisation whenever the Command engages in civil activities in the areas where CMC could deploy its expertise for the benefit of the target audience.

According to him, the Command would always be disposed to giving them update on their operations that is specifically meant for public use whenever the need arises.

Udofia also thanked Adetuyi and his coordinating Officers for giving his team audience in spite of their tight schedule.

He particularly commended the Officers and Men for their concern to see to the successes of each of the Commanders being posted to the 9 Brigade of the Nigerian  Army and for facilitating this particular visit.

The President of CMC Gladiators described them as excellent and fine Officers with burning desires to see to the success of the Nigerian Army and the country at large.

The team stated that 2nd Lt. Akiode of 9 Brigade and Dr. Champion Onyekwelu of CMC group coordinated the courtesy visit.

Present at the brief event were Lt. Col. Fakokunde, Acting Chief of Staff, Major Ekundayo, Assistant Chief of Staff, Major Bello, Public Relations Officer, Major Sanusi, Acting Commanding officer, Military Intelligence Regiment and 2nd Lt. Akiode, who skillfully anchored the event, according to CMC Gladiators.

It is noted he highpoint of the courtesy visit was the CMC’s presentation of a specially designed military Souvenir to Brig.-Gen. A. M. Adetuyi, at the 9th Brigade of NA, in Lagos.
