The Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) has said the members suspended their nationwide strike Friday, August 11, 2023, and will resume work Saturday.

ConsumerConnect reports Innocent Orji, National President of NARD, confirmed the development Friday evening.

Orji stated in a brief message to the media, that “We just suspended the strike. Work to resume 8 am tomorrow.

“We will review the progress made in two weeks

The medical doctors had embarked on industrial action to press home their demands, including improved remunerations and working conditions.
