Infractions: Reps order arrest of ex-FCC Desk Officer, issue ultimatum to AMCON, other MDAs

The Nigerian House of Representatives, in the National Assembly (NASS) has ordered the arrest of Haruna Kolo, a former Desk Officer in charge of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) at the Federal Character Commission (FCC) for job racketeering allegations.

It was learnt Yusuf Gagdi, Chairman of the Adhoc Committee investigating mismanagement of personnel recruitment, employment racketeering and other related matters, stated this at a meeting Thursday, August 10, 2023, in Abuja.

Earlier, the Reps Adhoc Committee had summoned Kolo to appear before the panel over series of allegations laid against him but he failed to yield the call.

The investigating Committee has given a deadline of Monday, August 14 for the Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), and other agencies that have disobeyed the call to appear before the Committee.
