12 Ships discharge assorted products at Lagos ports

*The Nigerian Ports Authority discloses 12 ships have arrived the Lagos Port Complex to discharge assorted general cargo and consumer products for Nigerians

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Tuesday, August 8, 2023, said that 12 ships had arrived the Lagos Port Complex and were discharging assorted cargo cum consumer products.

The NPA listed the items being discharged at the seaports as general cargo, container, bulk pellets, bulk sugar, frozen fish, soya bean meal, butane gas and petrol.

The regulatory authority also noted said that 14 other ships are being expected to berth at the port between August 8 and August 22 this year, agency report said.

The Authority said that the ships were carrying frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, general cargo, butane gas, container and bulk fertilizer.

It indicated that two other ships had arrived the port, and were waiting to berth with petroleum product.
