FAAN effects new tariffs for Abuja Airport toll fares July 17

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said the country’s aviation regulatory agency will effect new tariffs for toll fares at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja, FCT,  from July 17, 2023.

FAAN, which disclosed this development in a statement signed by the Management Thursday, in Abuja, noted the Authority is committed to its core values of safety, security and comfort of air travellers.

The Management also said the fare for cars would change from N200 to N300, while that of buses and Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) will change from N300 to N500.

The statement disclosed the truck (six tyres) tariff would change from N500 to N1,000 whereas the trailer and container tariff would be N2,000.

The regulatory agency, therefore, urged the travelling public and other consumers of airport services to take notice of the changes and the effective date of July 17.

FAAN as well restates its commitment the aviation regulator’s “core values of safety, security and comfort”.
