President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has received in audience, Nigerian Alhaji  Aliko Dangote, Africa’s foremost businessman and entrepreneur, and Mr. Bill Gates, Co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, in the State House, in Abuja, FCT.

ConsumerConnect learnt the duo’s visit to President Tinubu is part of the Gates Foundation’s commitment to working closely with communities and leaders to support innovation in Nigeria.

The meeting being held behind closed-doors is also expected to touch on pressing issues of global health and development even as they concern Nigeria in the comity of nations.

It is recalled that Tinubu, in the first few weeks following his inauguration as the Nigerian President, has continued to receive in audience various prominent guests in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Earlier Monday, the President had also met with Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal, Chairman of Bhanti Artel Worldwide, who came in company of Dr. Segun Ogunsanya, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Airtel Nigeria, and other members of the company’s Board of Directors, report said.

Tinubu also held a meeting with Ambassador Geoffrey Praytt, United States (US) Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Energy Resources, as well as Malam Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).
