Amid the distressing Coronavirus bedevilling the world economy in recent times, about 20 judges are currently in isolation in Osun State of Nigeria.

The Sun reports that Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, Osun State Honourable Commissioner for Health, who confirmed this revealed that the affected Judges had travelled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and went into isolation immediately they arrived the state from the overseas trip.

Dr. Isamotu disclosed this in Osogbo, the state capital, Wednesday, March 25 on the sideline of a press briefing by Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State to intimate newsmen with the first case recorded in the state same day.

“Yes, they are currently in self-isolation, but I can’t disclose any hospital. It is not necessary that they go to the hospital before being isolated,” Isamotu said.

“There are many people who have even tested positive of the virus, but stay in their homes to isolate themselves without going to the hospital.

“The judges are in self-isolation, and we are monitoring them,” Commissioner for Health added.

It was further learnt that the Judges had attended an international Conference in the Middle East country between March 9─20, 2020, before they returned to the state at the weekend.
