As a measure against the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria, the Kwara State branch of the Shoprite has introduced ‘no face masks, no entry’ system to its customers if they must come to shop in the mall for now.

Following a visit to the Palms Mall, which houses Shoprite along Fate Road, in Ilorin,  State capital, Wednesday, April 8, agency report states that the Management of the mall had provided hand sanitisers at its main gate for potential consumers and visitors to rub their hands before being allowed entry into the mall.

When the News Agency of Nigeria approached the entrance of the shop, its correspondent was asked to go back because he was not wearing a nose mask.

The correspondent was then directed to a nearby pharmaceutical shop inside the Mall to purchase a mask that which he wore before entering.

The pharmaceutical unit of Shoprite is reportedly making brisk business as shoppers besieged the place to get nose masks before they could enter into the supermarket[do_widget id=heateor_sss_sharing-2]
