General Motors (GM) is recalling 338,735 model year 2021 Yukon, Yukon XL, Chevrolet Tahoe & Suburban, and Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer explains the daytime running lights (DRLs) may not deactivate when the headlights are on.

GM explained the development might cause a glare, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

In regard to what to do in correcting the error, the company said dealers would update the vehicle’s Body Control Module software free of charge, reports ConsumerAffairs.

Owners will be notified of this issue by mail, starting around December 19, 2022.

Affected vehicle owners may contact GM Customer Service on 1(888) 988-7267, Chevy Customer Service on (800) 222-1020, or Cadillac Customer Service on (800) 458-8006.

GM’s number for this recall is N222382220.
