Nissan recalls 27,344 Titan, Titan XD, Frontier, Rogue vehicles over faulty rearview display

Disclosing the rearview display of the affected vehicle models may become inoperative, Nissan North America is recalling 27,344 model year 2022 Titans, Titan XDs & Frontiers, and model year 2021-2022 Rogues.

The in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) system may reboot when the vehicle is restarted, which can result in the rearview display not working as intended.

In regard to what to do, the automobile manufacturer said the IVI software would be updated by a dealer — or through an over-the-air (OTA) update — free of charge.

Letters notifying owners of the issue are expected to be mailed November 18, 2022.

Nissan’s numbers for this recall are R22B8, R22C1 and PC923/25.
