Hyundai recalls 122,919 SUVs over faulty windshield wipers

Hyundai Motor America is recalling 122,919 model year 2020-2021 Palisade SUVs.

The automobile manufacturer said the windshield wiper motor may become inoperative, causing the wipers to fail.

Hyundai said this situation could reduce the driver’s visibility, posing the risk of a crash.

As regards what to do, the company noted while a remedy is currently under development, it plans to mail out owner notification letters in October 14, 2022.

Hyundai’s number for this recall is 233.

The automotive giant has recalled over 1.3 million vehicles in 2022 this far, according to report.
