Coronavirus: Nigeria’s total hits 51 as Rivers, Osun, others record new cases

Updating Nigerians on the incidence of COVID-19 pandemic, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed that cases of Coronavirus disease in the country have risen to 51.

ConsumerConnect gathered that the NCDC, on its Web site and verified Twitter handle, said, “On the 25th of March, 2020, six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria.

“Of the new six cases reported on March 25, two are in Lagos State, one is in Osun State, one in Rivers State, and two are in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the disease control agency, “all the new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently receiving care.

“Three are returning travellers into Nigeria and two are close contacts of a confirmed case.

In the meantime, as of 11:25 p.m. March 25, there are 51 confirmed cases, with two discharged and a death, stated the NCDC.
