Integrity: Government approves establishment of ‘A Level’ Certificates data bank

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) discloses Malam Adamu Adamu, Honourable Minister for Education, has approved the establishment of Advanced Level (A Level) certificates data bank in  the country.

ConsumerConnect learnt Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, Registrar of JAMB, stated this Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in Abuja, FCT, at the opening session of a three-day workshop organised for Public Relations’ staff of the Board in collaboration with Premium Times Academy.

The theme of the workshop was: ‘Media, Publicity and Public Relations in the Modern Age.’

Oloyede, represented by Director, Legal Services, Abdul Wahab Oyedokun, said the data bank would ensure all ‘A Level’ results are registered under one platform to bring about standardisation and integrity of the certificates.

According to Oloyede, the Board had taken several measures to ensure total sanity in its examination processes.

He said from 2017 to 2022, JAMB had remitted a total of N27.2 billion to the Federal Government’s coffers and used N9.7 billion for capital projects.
