Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 126,443 of the following vehicles:

The company stated that the rearview camera may not display the rearview image due to a software error.

MBUSA also disclosed that an inoperable rearview camera display reduces the driver’s rear view, increasing the risk of a crash.

In regard to what to do, the automobile manufacturer said dealers would update the rearview camera software free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 7, 2022.
