Ford recalls 933 Lincoln Aviators over loose head restraint cushion

Ford Motor Company is recalling 933 model year 2022 Lincoln Aviators.

The automobile manufacturer said the front-row driver and passenger seat power head restraint cushion may detach from the head restraint assembly when adjusted to the full forward position.

The company stated that a detached head restraint cushion can increase the risk of injury in a crash.

In connection with what to do, Ford  Motor Company disclosed the dealers would replace the front-row passenger and driver head restraints free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 9, 2022.

Affected vehicle owners may contact Ford Customer Service on (866) 436-7332, and Ford’s number for this recall is 22S23.
