Kia recalls 451 Cadenza vehicles over non-functional rear windows

Kia Motors America is recalling 451 model year 2020 Cadenza vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer said the rear power windows could be operated by the driver’s power window main switch after the ignition has been turned off, and a front door is opened.

It was gathered the rear power windows that operate unexpectedly can increase the risk of injury to consumers, said Kia Motors.

In regard to what to do in correcting the error, the company said the dealers would  update the Driver Door Module software free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 8, 2022.
