Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is recalling 46 model year 2021 GLB 250 and AMG GLB 35 vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer said the driver-side window airbag might not have been mounted correctly to the lower area of the A-pillar.

The airbag may not function properly in a crash, increasing the risk of injury, MBUSA stated.

As regards what in coredcting the error, dealers will inspect the mounting of the driver-side window airbag and repair it, as necessary, free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed January 4, 2021.
