Nissan North America is recalling 5,905 model year 2017-2019 Rogue Hybrid vehicles.

The automobile manufacturer said contact with the Electronic Control Module (ECM) bracket may damage the engine harness, causing a blown fuse in the process.

A blown fuse may cause an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash, according to Nissan.

In regard to what to do in rectifying the technical error, the company stated that dealers would install a harness protector cover free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 15, 2021.

Affected vehicle owners may contact Nissan Customer Service on (800) 867-7669, and  Nissan’s number for this recall is R21B6.
