NNPC is not recruiting ─Spokesman

*The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation clarifies there is no recruitment, and urges the public to disregard the misinformation circulating in the social media in its entirety

Contrary to information making the rounds, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) clarified and alerted members of the public, that there is no recruitment going in the organisation.

Mr. Garba Deen Muhammad, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division of NNPC, in a statement issued Sunday, October 3, 2021, said it is misinformation, and general public should disregard it.

The NNPC stated: “This is to inform the public that the information circulating in the social media that the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) is conducting a recruitment exercise is not true, and the public should disregard it in its entirety.”

The Spokesman of the Corporation said “whenever NNPC decides to conduct a recruitment exercise, it will announce this to the public through authentic public communication channels, including the NNPC’s Web site (www.nnpcgroup.com).”

The statement reiterated that “the NNPC is not recruiting.”
