The automaker noted that the LED headlights may have been incorrectly adjusted during a vehicle repair.

According to the company, incorrectly adjusted headlights may reduce visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

In regard to what to do in rectifying the error, Mercedes-Benz USA said dealers would replace the LED headlights free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 31, 2021.

Affected owners may contact MBUSA Customer Service on (800) 367-6372.
