Ease of Doing Business: CAC pledges improved, selfless service to Nigerians

*The Corporate Affairs Commission restates its commitment to pursuit of improvement in the Commission’s operations in line with the Ease of Doing Business policy of the current administration in the country

In a move to advance improvement of the regulatory Commission’s operations in line with the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has said that it is poised to improve its service delivery and revenue generation.

Alhaji Garba Abubakar, Registrar-General of CAC, disclosed, as contained in a resolution at the regulator’s 2021 Management Retreat in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria.

Rasheed Mahe, Head of Media Unit at the Commission, in a statement Wednesday, August 4, 2021, in Abuja, FCT, said Alhaji Abubakar disclosed this development when he received the report of the Retreat Committee headed by Duke Ukaga, Director of Public Affairs of the Commission.

The 2021 CAC retreat was tagged, “Digital Economy: The Role of Corporate Affairs Commission”.

The CAC Registrar-General restated his commitment to continuing the pursuit of improvement in the Commission’s operations in line with the Ease of Doing Business policy of the current administration in the country.

He also commended what he described as the ‘excellent job’ of the Retreat Committee, and urged members to continue to offer selfless service to the Commission at all times.

Abubakar as well expressed delight that the retreat was a huge success, noting that far reaching decisions were reached at the two-day event.

Ukaga applauded the registrar general for the tremendous support, guidance and cooperation during the retreat.

Ukaga, who is Director of Public Affairs CAC, also pledged the Committee’s readiness to continue to offer selfless service to the Commission and the country.
