The National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) has assured that Corps members left out of the Batch A Stream I orientation camp will be included in the Stream II May 2021.

It was learnt the communication is sequel to the development after some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) failed to get their postings for deployment for mobilisation in orientation camps Monday, March 8 when they were released.

The NYSC Management in a blog post stated: “In order to observe COVID-19 safety measures in the NYSC Orientation Camps, not all PCMs who have successfully registered were deployed for 2021 Batch ‘A’ Stream I.

“All those who were not deployed are advised to patiently wait for the next stream which is scheduled for May 2021.”

It noted: “If you cannot print your Call-up letter, you are in Stream 2, which is scheduled to hold May 2021.”

2021 Batch ‘A’ PCMs are encouraged as a matter of priority to be immunised against cerebrospinal meningitis before reporting at the orientation camps, said the body.
