The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has expressed condolences to Mrs. Victoria Ibanga, Publisher of NextEdition and member of the Guild, on the death of her husband.
The Guild expressed its sympathy in a condolence letter signed by its President Mr. Danlami Nmodu, mni, and the General Secretary, Mr. Sufuyan Ojeifo.

Kemi Yesufu, Publicity Secretary of GOCOP, in a statement Saturday disclosed Mr. Olumide Iyanda, Deputy President of GOCOP, who led the delegation on a visit, presented the letter to Mrs. Ibanga, Friday, June 12, 2026.
The Guild said the letter noted: “On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire membership of the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers, GOCOP, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your husband.
“We received the sad news with deep sorrow. Please accept our sincere sympathy during this difficult period of grief and loss.”
GOCOP said: “We pray that the Almighty God will grant you, your children and the entire family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul rest in peace”.
“Please accept, dear colleague, the assurances of our highest regards.”
