The Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP) has congratulated Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Nigeria’s Honourable Minister for Information and National Orientation, on his 60th Birthday.

Danlami Nmodu, mni, President, and Sufuyan Ojeifo, General Secretary of GOCOP, in a statement at the weekend, noted the Guild acknowledged Minister Idris’ career as a journalist, publisher and public official.

The statement noted the Guild observed his approach to public communication and emphasis on clarity.

GOCOP said Idris’ work in government had reflected a commitment to direct engagement on public issues, particularly in periods of heightened scrutiny.

The Minister’s experience across the media and public sectors has shaped his approach to information management and public messaging, noted the statement.

Nmodu and Ojeifo added GOCOP wished the Minister good health and continued service to Nigeria.
