The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has said its “Tax Thursday” edition for the last month of the year holds December 11, 2025, at 10. a.m., at all branches of the Service nationwide.

ConsumerConnect reports the FIRS disclosed this via its verified X account @FIRSNigeria, said the forum aimed at spotlighting how taxpayers’ contributions build legacies, unpack 2026 tax reforms, and share key updates for businesses.

‘Tax Thursday’ is a monthly enlightenment and sensitisation programme organised by the FIRS.

The Service has explained the fundamental objective of the forum is to raise awareness among Nigerian consumers about tax matters and encourage voluntary compliance. During these events, FIRS staff engage with taxpayers across to educate them on various issues.
