NNPCL: Port Harcourt Refinery fully operational, producing petroleum products

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has clarified that despite a “minor incident” at a section of the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC), in Rivers State, earlier Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the oil-refining plant remains operational and continues to produce on-spec refined petroleum products.

Mr. Olufemi O. Soneye, Chief Corporate Communications Officer at NNPC Limited, made the clarification in a terse statement issued Wednesday, in Abuja, FCT.

Soneye stated: “NNPC Limited assures the public that there is no cause for concern, as all sections of the recently rehabilitated plant are in full operations.”
